She's got an older sibling by 2 years so has loads of shared toys. Need some ideas of clothes maybe? Or a non space-taking, or low space toy/ experience or just anything nice
What do your 8/9 year old girls love? I've got boys so am useless

Nice stationary, arts and crafts

TokyoSushi · 03/07/2022 22:39

Yes agree, DD is just 9 and loves stationery and art sets like sequin art, paint by numbers etc.

MarthanotMarfa · 03/07/2022 22:42

Exactly as others have said. Diamond art kits, bullet journal and nice pens and bead kits (thin bead discs not the round ones) and squishmallows not copies.

Agree with arts and crafts as my DD loved making things at that age and she loved Lego as well and jigsaws. We still buy a Lego set every Christmas as her and her dad spend hours putting it together so I’d highly recommend.lol

Stompythedinosaur · 03/07/2022 22:48

My 9yo would like lego dots, an adult colouring book or nice stationary.

elloello456 · 03/07/2022 22:52

My nine year old wants a tamagotchi

ColmanFlamingo · 03/07/2022 22:55

Slime kit or slime ingredients
A new desk, lamp and bits for room
Bath bomb kit
Jewellery making things
Echo dot

avamiah · 03/07/2022 22:58

Oh how could I forget slime, omg now that’s a great gift .
Go for a slime making kit .

emsyj37 · 03/07/2022 22:58

Bath bombs, there's a set on amazon that I buy a lot that has bath bombs and bath slime crystals in it. It's called 'Baff' I think. We've used the 'Gelli Baff' here and it doesn't stain and rinses away.
Or a book and some chocolates.
Lush have a rainbow thing that you can use as bath bubbles, shower soap and shampoo. Anything from Lush is popular with my 9yo.

A kite. Lego. Tie dye kit (plus a couple of white cotton t-shirts to dye). Smiggle voucher. Book voucher. Lip Smackers lip balms.

TheGriffle · 03/07/2022 23:11

Smiggle voucher, Claire’s voucher, anything crafty, eyeshadow palette, squishmallows, slime. Only buy clothes if you get their size from their parents, my 9 year old is in 12-13 as she’s tall, her 9 year old friend who is tiny is in 7-8.
