DD been poorly with vomiting for a few days. Think exorcist style vomiting. I've had it all week. I'm the SAHP. DH at work, sits down in an air conditioned office, own body, own time. Meanwhile I've had my DD strapped to me - night and day. Today I just want my body to myself. I end up napping this afternoon. He's had DD for most of the day. I came down stairs and he's been stroppy for the rest of the evening and is still in a huff now.

Aibu or DH?

You are both knackered...he may have had a shit load of stress in his air conditioned office and you definitely have had a tough time. Try not to fight this is the time you need to pull together

Sorry you’ve both been unwell
In fairness if he’s unwell he’s likely to be grouchy and not inclined to be doing childcare
i wouldn’t expect someone who’d been unwell with projectile vomiting to step up without comment
youre unrealistic to expect no comment but I appreciate you’ve been unwell tpp
hope you both make a recovery

@Buzzer3555 I really wish we could but he just mopes. It really winds me up. It feels like I'm looking after everyone's needs. I just wished he'd just adult-up. If he's pissed everyone knows it. If I'm pissed and with the kids I have to park it because I have to be present and put the kids first. Sometimes I really regret marrying him. I wished things were different.

@Zone2NorthLondon

We're not unwell. Just DD.

It's not childcare. He's a parent and looking after his own daughter.

Oh I misread it interpreted had it all week as you’d had it too
in that case he needs to stop moaning and be helpful,to you and Your daughter

@Zone2NorthLondon

It just feels I've had it all week and he's had it for 1 day and he's just been a grumpy git! I may be starting a job which means working weekends and I've just asked him exactly he's going to deal with it? He replied by saying he hasn't slept that well either.

I'm now trying to get DD settled (watching vamparina) and he's sleeping next to me. Bed and his own body to himself whilst our DD is glued to me. When she wakes coughing, vomiting etc, it'll be me she will
Cling too and has to 'sleep' in an awkward position as she just wants comfort at the moment. My shoulders and arms ache from holding her constantly. It feels he has it for one day and it's broken him!

Now he's snoring
