I remember when it was all trees

Finally found out how to start a thread on my phone.
when I was a teenager I lived near chessington, before the m25 was built. Back then it was a zoo with a few rides.
i remember my purse with all my photo booth photos in it going missing on the big wheel
what do you remember before it got big?

There was a field of cows next to the playing field, in my first year of primary school. Very soon it became a posh housing estate.

When I was wee, I went with my parents to Alton Towers (maybe my older brothers were at school, enjoying seeing the cows next door). It was just lovely gardens and the house, no rides yet.

We went to Paltonsthere was a donkey and that was about it lol

I remember redwood trees, bumper cars and wolverines
The ocean's Trident submarines
Lemons, limes and tangerines
I remember this.
