We started a tradition of "Classic Movie Night" once a month during lockdown in our house and it's my turn tonight but I'm stumped? We like movies from all genres including movies dating from the 1930's to 2000's. We're all adults so no need to be kid-friendly. I'm grateful for any suggestions!

The Bishop's Wife. David Niven version. Religious but brilliant film.

Okay we have a winner for tonight - "Footsteps in the Fog" 1955 movie with Stewart Granger. I was actually searching for The Prisoner of Zenda which doesn't appear to be available anywhere but found this instead.

It's amazing to be so spoilt for choice thesedays!

Mine too - and to have them both in the one film was almost too much Grin

The Ghost and Mrs Muir is one of my favourites.

Pete's dragon, has to be the original though. A fair bit before my time but was my fave childhood film, could happily sit and sing along to it anytime 30 years later.

I might do this over the summer holidays with the kids.

Thanks for the idea!!!!!

If you’re ever in the mood for just a simple, feelgood movie, try Johnny Come Lately with James Cagney. It’s a lovely one.

@AuntieDolly I was thinking "Jerry! Camille! Moon! Stars!" but couldn't put my finger on it 😆
