I'm staying in a hotel, after a very long drive north, I'm helping my daughter move house tomorrow and then we're driving back again. I'm really shattered as I've had a full day at work. Some fucker in the next room has his TV on really loud

Report it to reception. They should deal with that quickly.

In the same situation, I phoned the room pretending I was the front desk and asked them to turn it down. I'm a northerner, this was in the USA - so I had to fake the accent too. But it worked.

Report to reception and ask if they have ear plugs.
