Moral Dilemma

If you purchased something using your credit card and it was pending clearance for a few days then just disappeared completely, but the item you purchased is still being sent.
Would you come clean and tell the very large company?
I’ve always taken great pride in being a honest decent person so I’m now shocked that I’m even questioning whether to do the right thing or not.

Has the item already arrived? If so and your card isn't debited within a month I'd ring the company the item came from and ask whether they've taken payment, but that's just me.

They have seven years to take the payment OP. Depends whether you fancy your chances that you can still cover it when it’s taken by surprise the week before Christmas in 3 years time, because that’s exactly when this shit happens.

Maybe they don't have it in stock and need to refund as someone said wouldn't count your chickens.
