To Ask the Easiest Way to 'Park and Ride' into London?

So I live in the midlands and my 4 year old wants to go to London. We already have a day booked at Legoland Windsor (we will be driving) but wondered what the options are for getting into London? Ideally, somewhere we can park and jump on a train. It will be a Saturday we go to London and will be in a hotel near Windsor but happy to drive for a good place to park.

Thanks in advance

So you're staying in Slough, can you leave the car at your hotel whilst you're in London? How near the train station are you? There is parking at the station I believe, not sure of the cost.

It's less than 25 minutes on a fast train from Slough to Paddington - buy a one day travelcard which will cover the train to/from Slough & Paddington as well as public transport in London (all the tubes, buses & local overground trains). 4 yr old will travel for free IIRC.
