Keyworker/TA

Does anybody know whether there is a difference between these titles on an ehcp? (Ks1 primary age)

Is a keyworker another name for TA, or is a keyworker somebody who works more closely with a specific child/specific small group of children?

@blackbirds funding models are down to each LA.

Does your la have a team for parent's support regarding ehcp/Sen? We have one called sendias and they advocate on behalf of parents. They will liaise with school, look at ehcp etc. Otherwise there may be a locally charity that can help you. without specified hours for support your ehcp is vague. It means school can offer support as they see fit without any specific legal requirements. The term key worker in the context you described literally means the person working with your dc at the time, so could be anyone. My ds ehcp lists the hours of intervention required and some of this is 1:1, some is small group or even 1:15 . He is on the highest funding which I think (but don't quote me) is around 25 hours per week for 1:1 intervention. So he does have his own 1:1. The problem with funding unless ehcp states specific funding to be allocated to certain things ie 1:1. It can technically be used for anything to benefit your child so for example it could go towards a sensory club your child attends, or buy equipment you child (and others need)
