To ask if this is a vinted scam?!

I've never used vinted before, but from similar sites I usually assume if someone messages within seconds of listing that it's not genuine but I don't want to miss a sale if it's legitimate. I don't even know what a secure deal is!

Hi OP. Think it's a scam. I had a similar message within minutes the first time selling the other week, it was asking for my email address. Just ignored it.

Does that say they are in Portugal? Just ignore, similar thing happens on FB marketplace.

Yep, scam, I had the same within minutes of using for the 1st time, they sent a legit looking email, I followed the link like a prat & they cloned my cards. Haven't used it again as put me off!

Scam avoid! I sell a lot on Vinted and get this all the time

Not joking I’ve been had over 3 times on vinted. Buy things they send something the weight of what the item would be and hope you don’t click I have a issue. The vinted team have always been great with scammers though!! Just a shame for people who don’t realise and the money is released to them.

some people go to the help section and report this and you can wait upto 48 hours for a response THIS IS NOT CANCELLING THE SALE, you MUST press “I have a issue” instantly. X

Scam - I believe if you are in the uk you can only sell/buy within the uk.
