I'm having my kitchen renovated. I'm not a big fan of recessed spotlights and the builder said they could be a faff and expense to fit depending on the ceiling type. I see a lot of people have long dangly pendants above their table but that wouldn't work for us as we sometimes change the orientation of our table and would be unlikely to have the same table long term. So what kind of non-expensive, non-ugly ceiling lights should I choose for my kitchen? If anyone has pictures of ones they have in their kitchens that would be much appreciated.
