We went to an Open Evening at a secondary school yesterday. I was quite surprised at what seemed a lack of facilities. For example there were only 2 science labs. It is only a small school with a 5 form entry and no sixth form, but my secondary school was 4 form entry and had 6 science labs.
There was only one 'product design' workshop, one music room, one cookery room. The library was pretty small too - it only had about 12 computers. Is this normal these days or does your DC's secondary school have more facilities than this?
