I know I’m not BU really.

I've been following her blogs/articles over the last couple of years (like lots of other people), and I’ve been so impressed with her honesty, positivity and go-getting attitude.

Just heard she’s passed away and I feel so sad for her family but just want to say I’m so impressed at everything she’s achieved. She’s such a star.

She was a truly inspiring lady who led the change in breaking the taboo over Pooh!

It's a sad night 💔

WelshMoth · 28/06/2022 22:42

Saddened to hear that she's gone. What a shining star she was. Feel such heartache for her children and family though.

I'm so sorry for them all.
RIP to another awesome human being Flowers

So so young. Life can be so cruel. I hope her awareness raising and money saves many lives ❤️

worriedaboutmoney2022 · 28/06/2022 22:45

I've followed her and I've lost 3 family members to bowel cancer - I found her
Truly inspirational

My heart is breaking for her family at this time but I hope they're taking comfort in just how amazing she was ❤️ and how she took her own cancer journey and made it about changing the experience for other people, raising awareness but overall having so much positivity and hope. Just amazing x

She was truly amazing… so sad for her family tonight. She’s left behind such a legacy…… shine bright Deborah 💎

LadyApplejack · 28/06/2022 22:53

She was a truly inspirational lady. So smiley and radiant even towards the end. Her "goodbye" post on insta moved me to ugly tears.

She leaves an incredible legacy, but I feel so desperately sorry for her, and for her poor children to lose their mum so young. Life just isn't fair.

Ownedbymycats · 28/06/2022 23:41

A beautiful inspirational lady, so sad to see becoming so frail and ill looking.

GingerScallop · 28/06/2022 23:51

What an amazing woman. Sad fir her family but grateful for her life. And she lived life to the fullest until the last day.
Rest well Deborah. Your work here is done, and done well. Soar high

I knew her in a professional and later personal capacity - she was one hundred percent the magnificent woman she came across as. Time for absolutely everyone, a ball of positive energy. Life isn't fair and my heart breaks for her family.

GreenClock · 28/06/2022 23:58

She should be celebrated. Her legacy is absolutely fantastic and I hope her family are so so proud of her. She’s brought awareness to the Bowel cancer community and we desperately needed it.

That is really lovely to hear. We feel like we know people from their public personas but of course we have no idea if we've not met them in person. Great to hear from someone who did meet her.
