Is love gender blind

I’m in love with a female colleague of mine. She is beautiful, funny, smart.

when we are together it’s electric, it’s like I can feel all of her feelings. Is this just a crush, I’ve been with only men!

Of course it is (well, sex-blind, as gender is a social construct) otherwise there would be no gay or bisexual people.

Changemaname1 · 28/06/2022 20:07

So bisexual ?

StillWeRise · 28/06/2022 20:10

not sure what your question is really
are you asking how to tell the difference between a crush and real love?

housemaus · 28/06/2022 20:15

Some people are 100% straight. Some people are 100% gay. I think a LOT of people are somewhere in the middle, to be honest - probably more than realise it/are outwardly bi or pansexual.

I remember chatting with my mum and all my aunties at a family party about being bisexual and my mum and 2 aunties said they'd considered women in that way but that they'd never done anything about it because it 'wasn't the done thing'.

So - yes, for lots of people, it's irrelevant, and it's probably slightly more common than you think. Maybe it's just a crush (and tbh a colleague isn't the person I'd try my newfound attraction to women out with), but... congrats on unlocking new possibilities for yourself, that's a nice thing!

I believe you can fall in love with a person regardless of gender, I wouldn’t class myself as bisexual but I’ve been in love with both men and women.

If you’re bisexual you will obviously fall in love with men or women🤷🏻‍♀️
