My husband of 10 years and I have 2 kids a 9 year old and a 4 year old. Obviously when we are at home together we just look after them together but when he has something on like going away with his mates to play golf or go to the football then I look after them at home myself. When I have something on like I'm away overnight to visit my mum and its his turn to return the favour he packs the kids up and goes out to his mothers or brothers house and has them look after the kids while he watches sport on tv or does odd jobs round the house, things he stores up and puts off but suddenly become pressing when he's alone with the kids.
The kids are fine with the inlaws and as they have cousins to play with at his brothers but sometimes I just think look after the kids yourself sometimes!
