I have an elderly couple that live opposite me,as i was coming in from the school run on Friday morning a parcel was left outside and it is still there. We were out all day/night sat and returned late last night, but the parcel is still there. Usually they do have quite a few visitors but no body whos contact details i have. I want to call 101 but worried that im over reacting,I have knocked and theres no answer. Am i being dramatic?

Ask the other neighbours if they've seen or heard them? Perhaps someone knows that they've gone away?

If you are worried then by all means call, they may come round and do a welfare check.

Maybe they are away

I’ve forgotten/not noticed parcels before now (I’m scatty!). Or as others have said, they might have gone away. Or have covid and be self isolating. I’m sure the first thing 101 would ask you is whether you’ve tried knocking on their door yourself?
