NHS dentists taking on?

Shamelessly posting in AIBU for traffic...

Anyone know anywhere that is taking on new NHS dental patients? I'm thinking North West/Wales but after a £2000 estimate from a private dentist I'm thinking anywhere really...

You can’t just get an NHS dentist anywhere. You need to live near them.

Haven't been able to get one here for 20 years. You can't just rock up at any one to get treatment

That's GPS, dentists have no catchment.

In fact it's not all that unusual for people to keep their NHS dentist when they move even if if means travelling miles because there are no NHS spaces near their new home.

Unless it's changed very very recently.

You could look at Bhandal dentist chain in the west Midlands, they'll take anyone.

There's 1 near me (20 miles from me) in Scotland

Have you looked on mydentist.co.uk? They always have a sign outside my branch saying they're taking new patients and I just looked and there's loads more my dentists than I expected when I just had a look.

I don't work for them they're literally just my dentist, in case anyone thinks I'm advertising.
