To go to a toddler group...

Posting for traffic. I know for childminders and nurseries etc it's 48 or 72 hours after a sickness bug before going back and i assume that applies to groups too. Toddler was last sick yesterday afternoon and the group is Tuesday morning. Is that pushing it too close? Obviously if they have any other symptoms or sickness today it's a definite no!

Yes it is unreasonable and very selfish. Stay home with your child and play with them if you think they are well.
Don't risk the health of the other children just because you want to go to group.

So child was sick Sunday afternoon and toddler class is Tuesday morning?
All the schools my kids have attended have been 24 hours v&d free so personally I would think it's OK.

48 hours minimum. Please have some consideration.

Passthetena · 27/06/2022 10:10

Wow I am having consideration and I'm definitely not being selfish! If I was I wouldn't be asking the bloody question would I?! I wasn't sure if it was a 48 hours exactly thing or if it being 2 days apart was OK enough.

Sorry I second that please stay at home , with your little one just because they are feeling better does not mean they can’t still pass it on.

Ooh, very defensive.

You probably took him anyway.

No. I didn't. Like I said I wasn't sure if it had to be 48 exactly or if it being a few hours less was acceptable. I'm not an arsehole just a first time parent who's never been in that position before and wanted some clarity. So take your snidey comments somewhere else.
