Has anyone ever get pregnant from pre cum

Quite concerned.

I had the implant fitted at the end of April. Had unprotected sex a few times prior to that with the withdrawal method. Two weeks after the implant fitting I bled lightly for a week (was not my period).

my period is now late and I feel nauseous, off my road and my stomach feels strange. Will be buying a pregnancy test tomorrow but wondered if it’s possible?

This is possible, yes....

NewbieDivergent · 26/06/2022 17:03

Yes,happened to me,my 16 year old is the proof!!

InChocolateWeTrust · 26/06/2022 17:04

Fairly obviously it is very possible or else why would men have bothered to invent the condom.

Artymummy10 · 26/06/2022 17:04

My 6 year old is evidence that yes it can happen.

Wavygravy1 · 26/06/2022 17:06

The implant can mess with your periods. I had mine removed because I kept panicking that I was pregnant and it was annoying me.

CloseYourEyesAndSee · 26/06/2022 17:06

You've got an implant and he didn't ejaculate inside you so it's highly unlikely you're pregnant. Not impossible though I guess.

Dear God.

Yes, of course it’s possible, it’s more than possible, it’s pretty likely if you are both fertile.

As my midwife cousin said to me,

”What do you call people who use the withdrawal method?

Parents”

RainbowCottonCandy · 26/06/2022 17:08

Yes! He's 12 now.

CarburyChocolateRules · 26/06/2022 17:08

What does google say? 😵🙈😂

BritWifeInUSA · 26/06/2022 17:09

Possible? Yes. Likely? No.

But she’s using birth control also (she has an implant). So, not as likely as you claim.

NeverHadANickname · 26/06/2022 17:11

The implant stopped my periods altogether so it might not be pregnancy but yes, you can get pregnant with pre cum and withdrawal is not recommended unless it wouldn't be that much of a big deal if you did get pregnant because it is unreliable.

ReneBumsWombats · 26/06/2022 17:11

Yes, it is possible.

bbqhulahoop · 26/06/2022 17:11

Yes, when I was young and foolish. I miscarried, which was a relief as I wasn't ready to be a parent, but it's definitely possible I'm afraid

Nidan2Sandan · 26/06/2022 17:12

Possible but unlikely. I would say it's more likely your body settling in to the implant.

Wallawallakoala · 26/06/2022 17:12

I felt nauseous now and then on the implant but it did settle after a few months. Definitely worth doing a pregnancy test.

WomanHere · 26/06/2022 17:14

I’m surprised that they fitted an implant without a pregnancy test if you had recently had unprotected sex. But a lot of people don’t get any bleeding with the implant so this could be the case with you.

KilmordenCastle · 26/06/2022 17:15

Of course its possible!

Pastabake9 · 26/06/2022 17:16

Thank you everyone. Not sure if I make it clear in my post the unprotected sex was before I had the implant fitted!

Prevention against the pox and other STIs.

sarahc336 · 26/06/2022 17:19

Yea dd1 is now 5 she was quite the surprise 😂😂

Pastabake9 · 26/06/2022 17:21

Didn’t have a pregnancy test at the time as I was bleeding (implant fitted two weeks after unprotected sex) which I presumed was my period but it was very unlike my usual periods. Now I’m worried it could have been implantation bleeding.. will find out for sure when I do a test.

I used to have the implant (be pls on) which is what I have now, around 5 years ago but had it took out and it didn’t affect my periods then so I’m quite worried

anybloodyname · 26/06/2022 17:21

Did they do a test and ask if you'd had sex in last 10 days ?

BattenburgDonkey · 26/06/2022 17:22

But she wasn’t when she was having unprotected sex, as the implant was fitted after, so yep it’s still absolutely possible.

Sorry auto correct. (nexplanon*)
