I am moving from a house to an upper cottage flat (stairs as soon as you come in the front door).
I have no idea how to figure out whether my 3 seater sofa and cuddle chair will be able to fit through the doorways and round the corners in to the living room of my new home. Both sofas are very deep and the doorways and corners are quite narrow.
I know the measurements and have measured the door frames but I still can’t get my head round how they will fit!
I’ve attached a pic of measurements of the 3 seater and I think that it could fit on its side…
I’m hoping to get a man with a van/removals person to move it for me. Is there any way of me knowing 100% that it will definitely fit before doing this? My fear is that they can’t get it up the stairs and I’m left with a sofa that I can’t get in the house!
(I’m aware this question is probably very stupid!!)
