DD was asked to do a labia reveal at school! Shock
I’m confused, what does it even mean? A boy asked DD 14 to do a ‘labia reveal’ in his words? I suppose he asked for nudes? She’s very upset and I’ve reported to the school. How do I console?

Urgh. Surely it means to send a photo of her genitals.

Personally I'd call the Police. Seriously.

Police first then school

Littlebirdyouaresosweet · 24/06/2022 21:15

I would be tempted to send a pic of a tiny carrot and ask if it's his but obviously police is the sensible answer. Do not play this down or allow school to either op
.

I know a lad who got charged and placed on That List for trying to get nudes sent. He is 22 now and can't imagine how it has impacted him.

But the girls will be living with it also remember..

Agree with above.
Police, then school

This is absolutely appalling, and I hope your DD is okay? She might feel better knowing you've told the Police, and that's it's that serious. If you just tell school, there's a chance it'll be a bit of a.talking too, and swept under the carpet.
Hopefully the Police may be able to.atop this other child becoming a sexual menace!

Definitely police first then school.

If you leave it just to the school there might be an urge to 'have a chat' then sweep it under the carpet.

If police are involved, the school WILL act.
