Third time posting about this so many may recognise the story.
Just wanted to send an update that the estate agents have just emailed me to say that the Landlord has agreed for me to dispose of the bed, replace it with my own and move it when I decide to exit the tenancy!! Whoop whoop!!!
Thanks so much to everyone who gave such useful advice. I kept on pushing it and even copy and pasted a few comments from some posters so thank you! I can now get rid of that AWFUL squeaky bed and I can finally go back to sleeping in the bedroom with a great bed. Thank you all!
And to the posters who encouraged me to break the bed, I love you guys🤣 luckily I didn’t have to take it that far!
