To know to know what I just booked? Hairdresser

So I booked a hairdresser appointment.
It’s for ‘Ladies haircut’

When I looked on their website there was another option (I didn’t realise this as booked through a 3rd party app) for ‘Ladies haircut and blow dry’

does this mean that they won’t wash and dry my hair under my ‘ladies haircut’ option?

any hairdressers or someone who can clarify?

They'll wash and cut it and give it a rough dry if you're lucky

McConkeysPlate · 24/06/2022 17:34

Sounds like you have booked a wash and cut rather than wash, cut and finish.

Quirkycarrot · 24/06/2022 17:36

Mine asks me if I want a blow dry. If I say 'no, please just roughly dry it' she'll give it a once over with the hairdryer. If yes then you get a proper drying and styling. But this will cost extra so if you don't want it I would call and say you only want the wash+cut not blow-dry.

Hairmareeee · 24/06/2022 17:38

Ah I see… so they might just wash it and cut it and send me on my merry way with wet hair? 😂

Ask them.

If you booked a haircut you will get a haircut.

PonyPatter44 · 24/06/2022 17:55

Since none of us know what salon you booked, just ring them and ask them! I would imagine if the have an option for "cut only" and a separate option for "cut and blow dry", then they won't blow dry your hair. Some people don't really like the blow dry (they are wrong imho).

Flederjo · 24/06/2022 17:58

You could have just called them instead of asking here, surely? Then you'd have your answer 😉

Spanielsarepainless · 24/06/2022 18:16

It might be exactly what it says. A haircut. That's what I have and the stylist sprays water on my clean hair to get a sharp cut. Why not ring them if you are so confused?
