To feel sorry for myself?

I've got Covid. For the first time. I got away with it for 2 years so it had to happen eventually. I feel bloody dreadful. I can hardly get out of bed, yesterday I had diarrhoea and vomiting (that's stopped now but I still feel sick) and everything hurts.
I'm feeling sorry for myself.

YANBU but there is a Covid section on MN that might help give you some hints and tips on how to cope. Hope you don't suffer too much Flowers

I had it two weeks ago (after 3 jabs). So don't blame you for feeling sorry for yourself! I was feverish and sweaty then freezing cold and coughing. And so tired.

Drink lots of fluids, and get lots of rest. I found Sudafed was more helpful than paracetamol. Can someone get you some? And some Heinz tomato soup.

My sense of smell and taste disappeared on day 3 which was very odd but is slowly coming back. I'm still coughing though and having to have a nap in the afternoon. So expect it to take a few weeks to get back to normal. It took me until day 10 to test negative again.

Is someone looking after you?
