DS has SEN, ASD and a learning disability, has had no education provision for a year and we were set to go to SEND Tribunal on Thursday for a provision for September I spent months searching for with a great likelihood we would win.

Tribunal has now been pushed back to December. Two days before it was due to be heard! 6 months delay! He now has no provision for September either except 2 x 1.5 hours a week with an outreach provision for students they don’t know what to do with.

Date was set in February and have spent months prepping for it.

How the actual fuck can they get away with doing this? CANNOT BELIEVE IT!

LA could not identify one @SavoirFlair after his last placement broke down. They named one on his EHCP in December which started only last week as they had to recruit a support worker for him which apparently was nobody’s fault as it ‘takes time’. Support worker is now on holiday so no provision this week! This is the 2x 1.5 hour provision which is basically taking him out for a walk, no educational input.

LA only named this provision after I found a residential provision as nothing local.

Tribunal pushed back due to ‘capacity’ issues and the amount of cases but it was scheduled in February!
