To move house in this climate?

We currently live in a 3 bed semi on a mixed council/ex-council estate. And we always had noisy neighbours but the non adjoining neighbours were horrific, they got evicted and a new family moved in - perfect! Except their worse! And I now spend any sunny weather listening to their super loud music, their hottub and them shouting/spitting etc. It goes on from June-september all day until late at night.

They won't quieten down when asked and shout that their entitled to do what they want when they want.

I'm at my wits end, it's making me anxious and despite being in the house.

I want to move, however have alot of things going on, I'm on maternity leave, we have a few jobs we need to finish on the house and of course interest rates are rising.

We have around 70k equity in the house but to move to a remotely similar size house with a large enough drive for 3/4 cars (my husband needs room for a flat bed truck) we are looking at atleast another 100k onto the mortgage even with the equity as prices have gone up so much.

I've checked and moving to a similar size house will increase our mortgage by £300pm for a 10 year fixed deal and add another 15 years onto the mortgage - and this is before the interest rate rise!

I know it isn't the right time to move realistically not but sure I can stick another summer out with these noisy neighbours let alone multiple!

(Note we haven't reported to council as I know you need to declare a conflict once that's been done).

Should I bite the bullet and move, or wait it our until the economy is more stable?

Even if you put an offer on a house today, and everything went smoothly and proceeded as quickly as possible, you wouldn't be moving until September or so. You're stuck this summer, I'm afraid.
