Pink discharge 12 weeks pregnant

I am 12ish weeks pregnant, have my dating scan Thursday morning and have started today with pinkish coloured discharge, like what I normally get the day before my period. Is this normal? Should I ring my midwife or GP or just wait till Thursday? 🙁

Well my midwife told me to go to a&e if that happened during my pregnancies (which it did) and they refered to EPU, so my answer is a&e 🤷🏼‍♀️

It's very common and normally totally harmless so most probably nothing to worry about at all. However, in a few cases it can be a sign of something more serious that needs immediate treatment. So call your GP or midwife now, just so you can get checked out and if it is something unusual you can get treated.

You need to call your GP asap and get a referral for an early scan.

Very common. Happened alot through both my pregnancies. Especially during and after (sorry, tmi) straining for the toilet.

Sorry, I did have an early scan with my first to double check as it happened from week 6 to week 22. He was fine.

Most likely outcome is that all is well but you should be seen in the Early Pregnancy Unit - my local hospital needs you to be referred by your GP or sent there via A&E, as others have said. Hope all works out well 💐
