To think this is a bit weird? Or do I just need more time for it to settle down?

I've recently started having periods again after having a coil for 15yrs that stopped them.

My cycle before was a bit irregular but my actual period was pretty heavy and usually 6/7 days (although I did have 9 days once!)

In the last 3 months -

Period 1 lasted 8 days
Period 2 6 days
Period 3 (current period) 3 days?!?!

They have also gotten a lot lighter, not that I'm complaining, but is this normal and my body just needs more time to settle back into a routine or is this weird?

Sounds pretty normal experience of periods after coil removal as your body takes a while to adjust. If you get any other symptoms such as swelling get an appointment with your doctor.
