To feel weird and a bit worried about this...

I was driving down a heavily double-parked road wih my 9yo DD in the car with me. A car came up the road in front of me with two young guys in, so I started reversing back up the road a short way. There was a space on their side of the road but they wouldn't move into it, just kept gesturing for me to pull in, which I did. I just wanted to get to Asda, lol. Windows were open and I could hear them saying in a really patronising tone "that's it, there you go". After they'd gone past DD told me they were filming us. She asked if they will put it online- I told her they must be pretty bored to spend time putting a video/photos of two people in a car online. Who would want to see that?

But still, I can't shake this uneasy feeling and am just wondering why they did that, and what they might do with the film/photos.

(Kept calm and just told DD not to worry about it- she is more mature than them at 9yo!!)

Not really. Probably just some dumb kids videoing how they have "power" on the roads and are able to get other road users to give way to them/pull in for them etc. Absolute dickheads but I wouldn't be worried.

There are a lot of videos going about of women parallel parking and 'hilariously' messing up. If you pulled in without incident I doubt it would be worth putting out there, as the idea is to make women look incompetent.

If that's all it was I wouldn't be bothered. I did the best parallel park of my life the other day! I did pull in without incident but waited at first for them to pull over because the space was on their side. Silly boys!

Few yrs ago we were on holiday in Bosnia (Mostar) & this woman literally constantly filmed herself doing everything. We kept encountering her. It struck me that some people just like to constantly document everything.

Don’t worry about it OP, they could have been videoing themselves using the front facing camera (for Snapchat, TikTok etc..)
