Would this break a pram?

OK, so I've had some issues with my sons pram since he was born. I waited a few weeks, then went in, was fobbed off, had a few interventions, and today it's been noticed that I hang my changing bag on the pram, and have been told that this will be what causes the creaking and clicking...it happens when the bag isn't on the pram, and when I ordered the pram, the model in the showroom had the bag on it, and I was told thats how everyone wears their changing bag, especially when the carry cot is attached, because the shopping basket can't really be accessed easily with it in place.

Am I U thinking that they're just trying to place blame? Don't most people hang their changing bag on their pram?

Surely this isn't destroying the chassis of everyone's prams?

The retailer are replacing it, but it was a bit "fault caused by your bag"
Despite last week there apparently not being a fault with the pram when they took it away for repair after being sent videos of the creaking.

A pram should last 2-3 years, and you should be able to hang the bag on it... it sounds faulty to me, contact head office and don't mention where you put your bag

All the prams I have had have said not so hang the bag from the handle - even the one that came with a bag with poppers designed to hang on the handle! Even the bag clips you can buy say not to hang from the handle!! It's a cover arse statement!

No it shouldn’t.

I had my dd sit on the hood of my pram and it was perfectly fine. She even slept on there once.

So a changing bag is a farce

While lots of people do it and you'd think it would be fine as it changes the prams centre of gravity it can damage the chassis.

Well it depends what you're putting in the bag. Nappies and wipes, fine. Bag of potatoes and tins of beans, maybe your fault.

The don't hang bags on the handle warning is to stop them being sued when the pram topples and your baby catapults. Although I suppose it covers them for anything.

That's total crap the pram is obviously faulty. What brand is it? Some are notorious for faults.
