Museum tickets confusion - can anyone help please?

Shamelessly posting for traffic, as done some Googling on this but can’t find the answer. Can anyone on here help please?

I’m heading to Vienna next week, and have booked tickets for specific dates for a few museums. Does anyone here know if we can turn up to the museum at any time on the date specified on the ticket, or do we have to turn up at a specific time?

Just a bit unsure, as I know UK museums have been issuing time-specific and date-specific tickets because of Covid restrictions, but it’s not clear if that’s also the case elsewhere in Europe.

Thanks!

Which museums? Can you not ask them?

can you look at the Museums’ websites?
I’ve just returned from Berlin where I’d also prebooked tickets. I usually had a time slot on the day I chose as COVID precautions still about.
also read the terms and conditions on your email receipts and confirmation of booking emails. A lot of info there.

Thanks mrs - it’s for the Kunsthistorische museum. I emailed the museum early last week, but haven’t yet heard back, so just thought I’d ask here as well.

Popping back to say that the Kunsthistorische Museum is amazing 😁

if your booking email / ticket doesn't specify a time, you can probably show up whenever you like.

i'm in another european city which has timed entries but only that you can't enter early (but you can arrive late). so if your ticket says 10am you can arrive any time after 10am but if it says 2pm you won't get in before 2pm. And if there is no time printed, then you can enter whenever.

Ok, I’ve tried to book tickets for the Kunsthistorisches Museum and it doesn’t seem like it’s even dated. It just allows you to enter the Museum once.
