Weird 1. Do other people whilst reading (brackets) say the part of the "story" quieter in their head than the rest of a post?!
Or qmbI a big weirdo??

I do. And I get very excited to see brackets on a page when I’m reading because they offer something aside from the story, or something a bit extra, and look forward to getting to them. Same with footnotes. Never admitted this to anybody IRL but have learned just to enjoy the silly excitement brackets bring.
