Dd 10 father has always made a big deal about her coming to his on the weekend mainly sat evening and day. He’s always refused to do a day in the week so she could spend every other day with me which is her wish.
i told him she was struggling this week she was emotional and didn’t want to go (not the first time) well
shes come back to say he went off at lunchtime and returned this morning. She was left with his partner and the two much younger half siblings apart from
tge partner and one of them went to a kids partner so my dd was left with his wife’s sister who she does like but sounds like she felt like a spare part.
inwoukdnt mind but it’s not a one off he goes out most weekends and she is left with his parents - which is fine they are lovely
or at his partners sister - which again she likes sometimes or he goes out and she is with his partner who she likes but she wants to be at home. In the past 10 weeks he has spent three of those nights in -all three hie has drink, 1 was at a bbq and doing shots.
she tells me she never really see’s him
mot drinking and whilst he is not horrible and the partner stays sober this is all she sees of him and she’s losing respect and doesn’t appear to even like him despite me telling her his good pints (which to be honest pisses her off now as she says I don’t know what he’s like there)
she doesn’t want to speak to him and she doesn’t want me to as she says he then has a chat with her but I feel iv got to say something as she is unhappy but at the same time I don’t want to put her in a difficult position. As like she says I get to say it then not experience what happens after

we have had a chat and iv told dd that if she wants to arrange to see friends and stuff on those days she can as it appears dad and his family all have their social life’s, and I will deal with that
I want her to continue to have a relationship with him it’s not all bad but I don’t get why he thinks this is ok? She seems to be really starting to dislike him As she feels he is not bothering with her and just leaving her when she comes over but making a big deal that she does.
