Belfast sink!

My kitchen fitter has installed my worktop and Belfast sink so there is a large (1cm) gap between the top of the sink and the underside of the worktop.
sutelythis isn’t right!

You mean the sink is sticking up above the worktop?
If so it could be the pipe work under the sink had to be lower and he couldn’t be bothered altering it ( had this in a bathroom recently, whole lot had to come out )
Or because of the shape of the underside of the sink the worktop should have been shaped with a router inside the cut.
Or just a useless plumber. Make them fit it properly.
