Just saw a thread about name calling so thought Id give it a somewhat positive spin. Was AIBU to call my partner named "kris", "kris.P.Bacon" after the meme whilst I was mad at him?

Depends - it's not funny so I don't understand why you said it. The only thing I can think of is that it was a comment on his weight, if so, then yes, YABU. If not, YANBU, but not funny and a bit weird.
