So I was enquiring about having a skin treatment (emailed and called with no response) then after a week I text on WhatsApp and got a response and we text back and fourth a couple of times - and it got the part where I was trying to book a face to face (paying) consultation and the message was read and not responded to.

Similarly I had my hair styled on Friday and also had a consultation which required a strand test. Hairdresser sent me a photo of my strand test result the next day, I said great with toner on it will it be the colour I’m trying to achieve.

He’s since responded ignoring my question and demanding to know whether I paid him for the hair style (I paid on card in the salon?)

I’m not one of those “the customer is always right” type people. I just think a company should try to be professional and ignoring them is a bit shit?

Companies in general are falling apart since covid. I've never known a salon to liaise over WhatsApp though.
