how to understand QUIET BPD (borderline personality disorder)

Hi
my friend has recently been diagnosed with QUIET BPD - a subtype of Borderline Personality Disorder and I really want to gain some understanding of this so I can help her.
I understand from what she says, that unlike Borderline Personality Disorder, Quiet BPD is - emotions 'turned in on oneself' - therefore it is much harder to know a person has it, due to it being hidden ('quiet') Would anyone be able to give me some insight on your experiences with Quiet BPD? What is she actually going through on a daily basis? Thank you

hi, i just saw this thread and i deal with quiet bpd on the daily and its very frustrating. a lot of emotions you keep in and to yourself, moods can change in an instant, just by thinking about something related to those emotions or by the smallest things. but as theyre kept bottled up they explode internally, into self hatred and destructive mechanisms. your friend would definitely benefit from dbt, it helped me a lot in regards to handling the emotions inside.
any questions feel free to ask :)
