Sorry but I need the traffic!

How much ready to drink 200ml bottles of formula can I pack in my hand luggage and get through security with? The Gatwick Airport website is so vague "as much as you need for travelling which can be more than 100ml" but I obviously can't open each bottle and taste it etc (if they still do that) any advice welcome thanks.

You should be able to buy it the other side of security. I believe you can pre order

How long is your flight? Can you buy some in Departures?

I used to bring 4 or 5 through Dublin, faro, Orlando, lanzarote and tenerife. One for landing one for take off, possibly one in the airport, one in case of delays and one incase of spills. I would be what you'd call over prepared 😂😂😂. I never had an issue. I've also never been asked to taste them I think they just take them away and test them.

You can bring through a reasonable quantity for flight, it’s purposefully vague as there’s no set amount. Ive taken about 8 before no problems (long haul and I always take 2 extra in case of delays). Gatwick shouldn’t make you taste if but some or all of it will be put through a special liquid scanner so put it in its own tray at security and allow extra time.

I flew with a three month two weeks after this rule came in. Many years ago! It was a two hour flight and I took four bottles. Security guard commented that's a lot. I glared and said she's a hungry baby. He went ok. Lol I may have been a tad prescious first newborn at the time and a bit scary
