Playdate with chickenpox?

DC have chickenpox, is it OK for them to have a play date with friends who have already had chickenpox or been vaccinated?

Ask their parents

Would have thought so because it's unlikely they'd get it again, but ask.

If it's been longer than 5 days since the first spot appeared and you check with the parents then all ok imo.

Obviously I’d check with parents, they would be coming too, should we invite anyone.

But they do very much have an active case, we’re not day 5+ yet.

They would literally be the children that my DC caught chickenpox from, so they will have just recovered from it themselves.
