Getting myself into a bit of an emotional pickle

in just over 2 weeks DD3 is having an operation to remove tonsils, adenoids & to fit grommets.

I’m sat here in bed getting so emotional about how I’m going to explain to her that on the morning of the op she can’t have anything to eat or drink (except water of course)

of all the things to get emotional about, nope not the general anaesthetic, the operation (I’m sure the time to stress on that will come) but the fact she can’t have her weetabix. Sat here with tears just thinking about it 🥹

AIBU or is this a natural thing to worry about?

Ahh bless you. To be fair out of all the things to be upset about on the day to a 3 year old no weetabix will be the worst part! Which is a good thing as she will likely breeze through the rest of it blissfully unaware of you being a bag of nerves!
