I can’t do my job

My training has been shit. I don’t get things explained to me. I find it hard to even wake up in the mornings because I can’t do this job.

I spoke to HR and they said I could raise a grievance.

Life is just shit.

Just look for another one. I know its easier said than done. Is the manager not nice?

What kind of job is it?
How long have you been there?
Sometimes it’s good to just recognise that a company or a role is just shit - or not shit but not a good fit for you - and walk away. Get another job.
Otherwise, I’d go back to HR and explain that raising a grievance won’t change the training you need now and ask for support to make that training happen.
But it’s impossible to say without more detail - you might be lacking training, or you might be in the wrong job for you.

If it's not explained, you ask questions until you get your answer. You do everything you possibly can for yourself.

Raise the grievance or find a new job.
