To have left (for now) over this?

NC as outing. Partner came home from after work drinks very drunk and proceeded to smoke in the living room as it was windy outside. I own the house (completely), he could have stayed at his - baby is unwell with a respiratory tract infection, I am unwell with the same thing, preschooler looks like they are coming down with it.

Have packed two bags and gone to stay with my inlaws because the house absolutely stinks. I am so furious.

I need to come up with something sensible to tell him to get it sorted but I also need to calm down enough to actually write a text.

This is the second offence - just in case that makes any difference.

I wouldn't leave if it's your house

Smoking inside your living room is absolutely disgusting but even more so when he knows that baby and yourself are ill with an infection. The only difference I would have done is heaved him out on his arse instead of leaving my own home!

The reason I left was because the house stank and the residual effects of smoke etc.
