Is there a way to get subtitles for radio?!

I like listening to radio 4 in the shower. Wish I could keep listening while drying my hair! Is there any way to get subtitled / an app that will change live spoken word playing on a device to text?

If you watch it on freeview is this an option? Just wondering as obviously a screen will be up.

I have this issue and I pop AirPods in to fry my hair as they have no wire so if you're careful they don't fall out

I can get music lyrics on my Apple Music on my phone when radio is playing .. no idea if it works for talking radio .. I imagine not. I can't check at the mo.

If you use the BBC Sounds app you can rewind the program. Or just pause it.

@Crankley You're welcome - I'm afraid not many of the apps are free, the ones that are not often have limits on how you can use them, and the paid for ones are pretty expensive. So you might have to shop around.
