My DM is driving us mad as she is obsessed with us all being Uber close as in holidays together etc
I have 2 brothers, one married with kids and one single. We get on but DM is difficult. We spend plenty of time together - Christmas / Easter etc are all big family events and we have gone away with partners and kids to hotels for weekends for big birthdays etc . Also pop into each other, single brother calls in weekly
Over the last 15 years we have also been to two weddings abroad as a family and siblings have been on holidays and city breaks with DM over the years.
This is just not enough and she is obsessive about us all going on a. Big family holiday together. It won’t work , the dynamics just don’t lend themselves to an enjoyable holiday. . She also seems obsessed with us coming to her for Sunday dinner.
