Nursery keep losing DCs clothes 😭

Does anyone else seem to have this problem?

My son's nursery are constantly losing his clothes.

He takes a bag in with spares and when I pick him up he's never in his spares, he's in some random clothes and the clothes he had on are not in his bag. He also brings random kids clothes home in his bag which I always return.

I've eventually got some things back but not always, it's like they just shove them in any old bag.

His bag has his name in as do his clothes.

It's driving me mad, I can't keep affording to replace stuff.

And they seem to change him every single day because of spilled food and things, I'd rather him come home dirty but I'm his own clothes!

I used to send my lot in with cheapy charity shop bits that I wasn’t bothered about losing
it’s annoying but not much you can do-it’ll get worse at school

Get cheap clothes off eBay for nursery. It is really really annoying. Ask if they have a lost property box you can look through.

They'll have a pile of clothes in the corner, ask to go through.
Have to say we've never had this issue but would annoy me even tho I do buy cheap sets from H&M.

I would suggest to order some special labels for kids clothing (Amazon doing them, quite cheap). They are washable and will be noticed much better than name written with pen.
I have other problem, lots of parents love to buy from H&M so my son constantly coming back with jumper, trausers ( the same style, other kid label).

I’d be writing on the front of all tops in permenant marker or attaching a visible label on the sleeves or bottom on the trouser but on the outside so no excuses for clothes being mixed up

Old clothes I put name labels on the inside and out side plus they each had a picture so they could work out which was theirs as they got older.

Touch wood now at school so far to loose anything for more than a day or two it's also been drilled into them that clothes do not get hung on the peg but if they take it off it goes in the bag
