To not buy the nursery photo

They're nice enough because they're of dd, but she was cranky on the day so not that cooperative. There's a choice of 3, one of which I could crop to get a nice picture, but to be able to do that I would need to by digital copies of all 3 at £25 (digital is only available as a bundle).

Is it OK to just decline, and maybe take her to a photo shop to get some cheaper not grumpy pictures? Or is it expected that all the parents will buy something, like with a fundraiser or bake sale?

No, if you don’t like it don’t buy it, you’ll just be annoyed by it and put it in a drawer in favour of nicer ones.
