Do you ever feel like sometimes you just don't fit in with certain friends

I met up with 2 yesterday, one had a baby around 3 weeks ago and we met the baby for the first time, which was nice. We're all early 30s and went to school together.
I've felt this before, but I feel bad about drifting away from them.
There was a lot of baby talk, the other woman is TTC at the moment, the first woman is already planning a second baby, but although they're very cute it's not something that interests me at all, being a mother.
They're both in management positions, very career oriented, and again were heavily discussing that. I work in an industry I enjoy but I'm just not interested in climbing the ladder to management, and not sure I'd be a capable one anyway.
Lot of talk of house renovation too. Just very typical '30 something' life that I feel i don't fit into.
I'm quite quiet too and don't tend to stand out in groups.
Does anybody else feel this?
We have school in common, but that's it.

I feel the same way when people talk about kids or boast about careers. I'd much rather talk about hobbies and interests or things going on in the world and maybe learn something new. I have relatives that toot their own horns about how very important their jobs are. I couldn't care less about their middle management job at a random company. They aren't changing the world or saving lives, and it's such dry conversation. But generally I feel people spend too much time talking about themselves.
