DS’s eczema (pic included)

He has a patch of eczema on the back of his leg (as pictured, behind his knee). He’s 3.5 years old.

Its very itchy and sore. As you can see there’s a white part, looks a bit like a pimple.
I can’t decide whether it’s infected or not?

Has anyone got any experience of childhood eczema?
