To hope the vote doesn't put Boris off his second wedding

Last year when Boris and Carrie got married they had what we now know to have been the smallest party in Downing Street for some time. And it was announced they would celebrate with family and friends this summer. Gosh, I do hope this vote business won't distract him!

Course it won't don't be silly. I'm sure he's able to seperate his work and personal life like most people.

Northernlurker · 06/06/2022 13:05

He's certainly able to separate his personal life from the rest of his personal life.

Celebrating his wedding- didn't he say he had 'buyers remorse'.

SirChenjins · 06/06/2022 13:10

I'm surprised they haven't thrown together a wedding this week to detract from the messy business of attempting to hold Boris to account.

Surely it will depend on whether he can find enough donors to illegally fund it? Must be difficult getting them to write illicit cheques at the moment.

Bellarima · 06/06/2022 13:11

Maybe Carrie will ask Zac Goldsmith to put up the funds

lanthanum · 06/06/2022 13:15

Did anyone see them on the telly at the Jubilee service? She had a huge hat, worn on the side of her head, which means that they couldn't actually see each other when sat next to each other. I can't work out whether she just failed to think it through, or whether it was a clever ploy to ensure her face was not on TV when they pointed cameras at him.

MargaretRiver · 06/06/2022 13:17

it wouldn’t be his second wedding anyway.
Fourth I think?

Second to Carrie

Northernlurker · 06/06/2022 13:21

I think they need to get a move on. Raise the spirits. Seize the moment etc.

I expect he thought the jublilee would do the job for him.

Love it!
