Civil service online assessment centre

Hi all i recently applied for the civil service job and done with the 2 stages now i am on the online assessment centre stage . I need some help in this section because in the job advert they did not provide much information about it. if some can guide me related to this i shall be very thankful .

This will include a Written Exercise and Roleplay and will assess you against the behaviours ‘Making Effective Decisions’ and ‘Communicating and Influencing’.

the written exercise will assess your written skills as a decision maker you’ll need a good standard of English. Maybe worth googling what it might be. My son did this job for a while and I think he her to write up a decision on something, info given and had to make a decision and support it.

have a look at success profiles - behaviours and it will tell you what ‘indicators’ there are for those behaviours. That’s essentially a list of what they are scoring you against in the role play and the written test. I did all of this but 20yrs ago! Good luck
