AIBU to regret choosing black tiles?

Hi,

I now have black tiles on my kitchen floor (gloss) and every single thing shows up on them. Every spec of dust, shoe print etc. it's really annoying as I feel like I'm constantly trying to clean it.

Anyone else? Any tips?

Trust me - white tiles are just as bad! We didn't choose ours (although they do look nice) but they were here when we moved in.

No tips. Just console yourself that another type of floor would be just as dirty but you just wouldn't see it.

I have matt cream ceramic tiles, show every mark too, so I feel your pain, glossy must be even harder to keep clean.

Dust the floor with a dust mop first. Then plain water on the floor and mopped with a flat pad mop or a noodle mop. Leave to dry before walking on.
we have these glass black floor tiles in the ladies and gents toilets and I have to clean them. Other than a floor buffer, this is the best way to get them sparkling. Believe me I’ve tried everything we have, and the business is very very very precious about these floors.
